“Data Hub Integrated Solutions LLC” (Moro), a fully-owned subsidiary of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with “Alibaba Cloud”, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, to provide integrated Cloud solutions for Moro in the fields of futuristic technologies. The move is aimed at further strengthening the UAE’s drive in the digital world and smart cities.
This agreement has been signed on the side-lines of the “GITEX Technology Week” by Eng. Marwan Bin Haider on behalf of Moro and Daniel Jiang on behalf of Alibaba cloud. Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate to launch different digital initiatives and programs related to AI, Big Data, IoT, Intelligent Transformation, Large-scale Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud Solutions as well as Business Continuity Solutions through moving critical data to a cloud solution.
