The Emirates Group has joined forces with Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, for colocation services at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. Moro Hub is the world’s largest solar-powered data centre, as certified by the Guinness World Records.

“Data Hub Integrated Solutions LLC” (Moro), a fully-owned subsidiary of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with “Alibaba Cloud”, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, to provide integrated Cloud solutions for Moro in the fields of futuristic technologies. The move is aimed at further strengthening the UAE’s drive in the digital world and smart cities.
